Our Scout Troop
Our Scout Troop has boys and girls between the ages of 10½ and 14.
Scouts meet at the Scout Hut in Bishops Lydeard:
- On Thursdays between 19:15 and 20:45 pm
Outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being camping. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp.
Rock climbing, caving, kayaking are just some of the other activities they get up to.

You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!
